1887
A new building in Institute Street, off Silverwell Street, was formally opened to the Craft on Monday evening last. This marked the beginning of Bolton Masonic Hall’s journey as a central hub for Masonic activities and events, establishing its place in the heart of the community.
1928
The Bolton Masonic Hall building was extended out to its current size to house more Masonic lodges. This expansion allowed the hall to accommodate a growing number of members and events, solidifying its role as a key venue for Masonic gatherings.
2020
A modern redesign and rebuild of the club and bar areas in Bolton Masonic Hall were undertaken, enhancing the venue’s facilities and ensuring it meets the needs of contemporary events. This update brought a fresh and inviting atmosphere to the historic hall, blending tradition with modernity.
2022
A new Events team comprised of Masons and non-Masons with experience in events management are put in place to manage Bolton Masonic Hall. This team brings a wealth of expertise and creativity, ensuring every event is executed to the highest standard.
